I became a therapist later in life. Originally, I worked in semiconductor production and eventually moved up and out into the sales force for a big computer chip company. I quickly found that I enjoyed learning about other people and hearing their stories. That's when I changed course and started schooling to become a therapist.  

I have worked in many different settings, from contracting work with the military which took me around the world,  community mental health work in downtown Kansas City, running a child psychiatry clinic in California, working with developmentally disabled consumers in developmental centers, to private practice settings. I have extensive experience working with diverse populations and enjoy being a part of a client's journey.
